The resources of Moree & District Historical Society include:

4. Collection of over 3500 photographs – dating from the 1880s [currently being digitised and catalogued]

6. Hard copies of Moree Champion 1968 – 2014
7. Negatives of photos taken by Moree Champion reporters 1967 – 2004
8. Local school photos, records and journals
9. Digital catalogue with photos of graves in Moree Plains Shire Cemeteries and on local properties
10. Comprehensive list of World War I and II men and women from Moree district who enlisted for duty

Our records are specific to the area of Moree Plains Shire [Moree, Mungindi, Garah, Boomi, Pallamallawa, Terry-Hie-Hie, Ashley, Gurley, Biniguy (Springfield), Boggabilla, Toomelah, Weemelah] but do also cover the villages/localities of Mallawa, Millie, Croppa Creek, Crooble, Milguy, Neeworra, Mogil Mogil and Gundabloui that are located just over shire boundaries – as these have changed over 150 years.
